I acquired this freezer at auction, with 2 Harris low-temp freezers that I can't test due to no keys, from the Health Department
I plugged it in and the E-01 popped up on the screen.  After looking inside the panel, it looks like someone detached the back up battery and alarm. The battery probably needs to be replaced.  I had it plugged in for 4 days, and checked it with a thermometer that only goes down to -50 degrees C, it hit -50 then show and error message.
The picture of the frozen water was taken only after a few hours of turning it on.

It will need to be serviced by a professional before use.  I make not guarantees to it exact functions, other then it did freeze to below -50 degrees Celsius for me.
